RALEIGH, N.C. -- A silver sports car jumped the curb in front of the Mellow Mushroom restaurant off of Glenwood Avenue Saturday night and struck two parked cars, a utility pole and a fire hydrant in front of the restaurant's outdoor seating area.

 

No one was injured in the accident, which happened at about 10:45 p.m., according to witnesses.

 

Mellow Mushroom features an out front seating area on the street that was filled with patrons at the time of the accident. Traffic on Glenwood Avenue was at a stand still just minutes after the accident in the Glenwood South area near downtown.

 

The driver's identification is not known and a police report has not yet been filed.
