Isolated showers Friday evening

“Isolated showers and storms will be possible east of I-75 on Friday evening,” said Storm Team 8 Meteorologist Julie Phillips. “Overnight the showers end and temps will stay in the mid to upper 70s.”

Saturday will be the nicer of the 2 days this weekend. A light east wind will keep things dry through 2pm. After 2 scattered showers and storms will develop. There is a 40% chance of rain with highs near 92.

On Sunday rain chances increase a bit more. A stray morning shower is possible and scattered rain will develop by the afternoon. There is a 50% chance of storms with a high near 90 degrees.

Bertha is still a Tropical Storm as of Friday afternoon. Forecasts currently keep Bertha away from the U.S. coastline and keep the storm below Hurricane Strength.
