A North Carolina native from the Asheville area, Justin Quesinberry joined WNCN as a reporter in February 2011.

Justin has reported throughout central North Carolina for the better part of the last decade, covering everything from breaking news to feature pieces and even visits from sitting Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, and former President Bill Clinton.

Sometimes stories have taken him out of the state. Justin reported from Virginia Tech in the hours and days after the tragic shootings there. He covered Kay Hagan's swearing-in as a United States Senator live from Capitol Hill in Washington D.C.

Justin's reporting has led to action. He reported on a veteran's efforts to get his benefits reinstated because Veterans Affairs listed him as dead. After Justin's investigation, VA was able to prove the man was still alive and reinstate his benefits, just one day before he actually died.

A North Carolina grocery chain removed a line of reusable bags from its shelves after an investigation Justin conducted found lead in the bags.

Before joining WNCN, Justin spent more than four years as a reporter and anchor at WFMY News 2 in Greensboro.

Before that, he worked for two years at NBC 25 WHAG in Hagerstown, Maryland as the station's Cumberland bureau chief covering news in four states.

Justin graduated from Wingate University, where he was editor of the campus newspaper and worked at the college TV station. While in college, he completed several internships at News 13 WLOS in Asheville. He also wrote for his hometown paper, The Black Mountain News.

Justin is married to Kelly and they are proud parents of their dog Lexie.
