A Durham man who moved to Idaho after his wife's murder in 2005, is expected to make his first court appearance in Durham Monday.
Raven Abaroa returned to Durham last Friday morning to face charges in the crime.
Police arrested Abaroa in Idaho earlier this month. He faces charges in the stabbing death of his pregant wife Janet who was 25-years-old at the time.
Durham police say they have a solid case with plenty of evidence against Abaroa.
"I think it's strong enough to send four investigators out to the state of Idaho to make an arrest, and strong enough so that law enforcement officials and judicial officials in the state of Idaho feel that we have enough to be able to hold and confine this individual," said Durham Police Chief Jose Lopez.
