By Erica Bustamante

The mother charged in the death of 5-year-old Shaniya Davis has been released from jail after posting bond.

The family of Antoinette Davis posted her $51,000 bond on Saturday, a clerk for Davis' lawyer tells NBC17.

Davis was released from Central Prison on Sunday. She has been charged with human trafficking, felony child abuse-prostitution and for filing a false police report.

Shaniya Davis was first reported missing by her mother in November 2009. Her body was found days later in a wooded area near Sanford, N.C.

Mario McNeill, 29, has also been charged with Shaniya's death and kidnapping.
