Band Together NC is starting its selection process to find a nonprofit partner for its 2014 main concert event.
Earlier this year, Band Together NC partnered with NBC-17 to bring the B-52s to Cary as the headlining act for the 2012 concert. That concert raised more $500,000 for Urban Ministries of Wake County.
Nonprofits interested in applying to be the 2014 nonprofit recipient may attend a Q&A session on July 23 at 4:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Theatre. To be eligible, nonprofits must be recognized as a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit agency.
Band Together and the nonprofit partner will work in collaboration to raise funds benefitting the nonprofit's programs.
