Chapel Hill Police has set up a tipline for the investigation of the death of UNC student Faith Danielle Hedgepeth, who was found dead in her apartment Friday morning.

A candlelight vigil will be held Monday for Hedgepeth.
According to the Facebook page "Celebration of Life-Faith Danielle Hedgepeth," the vigil will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at The Pit on UNC’s Campus.
The event is being hosted by the UNC American Indian Center, Carolina Indian Circle and Alpha Chapter of Alpha Pi Omega Sorority.
According to the Facebook page, Hedgepeth was an active member of the Haliwa-Saponi tribe.
The 19-year-old was found dead inside her apartment Friday around 11 a.m. by friends.
She lived at the Hawthorne on the View Apartment complex.
Police are treating Hedgepeth’s death as a homicide. No one has been charged in her death.
Also on Saturday, Chapel Hill Mayor Mark Kleinschmidt issued a statement saying, "In times of disasters and tragic losses, our community comes together to grieve. I am deeply saddened and sorry for the loss of Faith Danielle Hedgepeth. On behalf of the greater Chapel Hill community, I ask that you join us in remembering Faith's family and her many friends in your thoughts and prayers.”
