International Festival Spotlight: Thailand

Thailand's rich history and culture will be on display this weekend at the International Festival.

From Thai massage to traditional dances, Thai culture will be a part of the International Festival at the Raleigh Convention Center starting Friday. Thailand will start their festivities at 1:45 on Saturday and Sunday.

Thai massage was developed 2,500 years ago by Buddhist physicians. A normal session can last up to two hours.

Traditional Thai dancing uses soft and gentle gestures to portray mythical creatures.
