2 in Goldsboro arrested for robbery

GOLDSBORO, N.C. -

Two people in Goldsboro were arrested in connection with a beating and robbery that took place on Jan. 30 near Lincoln Drive and Poplar Street in Goldsboro.

The victim reported that he was chased down, beaten and robbed of his hat and watch by two suspects. Denisha Lashonda Todd, 18, and Michael Lamar Bellamy, 22, both of Goldsboro, were arrested and charged with one count of Common Law Robbery.

Todd is being held in the Wayne County Jail on a $10,000 secured bond. Bellamy is also being held in the Wayne County Jail on a $2,500 secured bond.
