Storm Team 11 Weather: Storm Possible This Evening and Tonight

Posted: Updated:
JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) - The Storm Team 11 Forecast:

A cold front will pass through the Tri-Cities tonight, bringing the chance for showers and thunderstorms this evening through the overnight. Some of these storms may be strong/severe with small hail, high winds, and heavy rain possible. Best chances for showers/storms will come before midnight, although a few are certain possible after. Lows in the morning will be in the mid to upper 60s with some areas of fog possible.

Tomorrow looks to be a quiet day overall with partly cloudy skies and a 20% chance of an isolated shower/storm, especially across the higher terrain. Highs tomorrow reach the mid to upper 80s.

Temperatures climb back into the upper 80s for Thursday and Friday, and rain chances increase to 30%. A few showers and storms are possible during those two days, especially in the afternoon and evening.

Another cold front will come through over the weekend, bringing another round of showers and storms. While wet weather is possible on both days, Saturday currently has the higher chance. Following this front, temperatures will fall back into the mid 80s. It should be a dry beginning of the upcoming work week, with just a slight chance of a lingering shower on Monday.

Have a great night!
