Garner teen arrested for having gun on school property

GARNER, N.C. -
Jalyn Keylon Marshall, of Garner, was arrested Monday and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and having a gun on educational property.
According to an arrest warrant, Marshall, 19, brought a 9mm handgun onto the campus of Aversboro Elementary School. The warrant says Marshall assaulted a man and intended to kill him with the gun.
Marshall had his first court appearance Tuesday at 9 a.m. He is being held at the Wake County Jail under $125,000 bond.
