Deputy runs over tombstones

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -

An SUV from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office crashed into a cemetery Monday, according to WXII, damaging several tombstones.

The crash happened at 1 p.m. Monday on Old Walkertown Road near Mount Pleasant Drive, WXII reported.

There were no injuries. A deputy was on an emergency call when trying to pass a slow vehicle and wound up running into the tombstones. No one was injured.
