Tonight's big game marks the end of basketball's regular season, one that's been very good to businesses in the Triangle.
On game day, business owners on Franklin Street say normally mobbed from morning to night. At a Korean-fusion restaurant called Korchipi, the "Battle of the Blues" drew in more foot traffic than normal for Ray Lee, the owner of the month old fusion restaurant.
"It's tremendous. Whenever it's game day, especially a home game, my business picks up tremendously. We were busy all day long" said Lee.
Genny Wrenn, manager of Shrunken Head, knows a thing or two about Carolina Pride and has been offering free tattoos to thousands of customers all day.
She said her store was busy since the beginning of the week, as tourists from near and far wanted to buy T-shirts and UNC goods, to show off their Tar Heel pride.
Tonight, there wasn't an empty seat at a single bar in town which is something businesses are going to miss.
