Durham man facing charges in connection with Amber Alert

DURHAM, N.C. -
The Amber Alert for the missing 5-year-old Durham boy, Christopher Rojas, has been canceled as the child has been located.
Police believe Christopher Rojas was taken by Santos Reynaldo Gomez, 35, following a domestic dispute. Reynaldo is the boyfriend of the boy's mother.
The mother of the child was taken to the hospital after she told authorities she had been injured in a dispute with her boyfriend.
Gomez returned the children to the apartment on Lednum St.
Gomez is facing charges of communicating threats, assault on a female, assault by strangulation, kidnapping, battery of an unborn child. He is being held at Durham Police Headquarters at this time.
