Fuquay man sentenced to 180 months for robbing Apex bank

GREENVILLE, N.C. -

A Fuquay-Varina man was sentenced to 180 months in prison, followed by five years of probation, for robbing a BB&T bank in Apex, authorities said.

Van David Kalcevic, 22, pled guilty Oct. 15 to robbing the BB&T on 1130 Bear Creek Commons Drive on March 29. Kalcevic stole approximately $4,422, authorities said.

He was sentenced Tuesday by Senior U.S. District Judge Malcolm J. Howard.
