Fayetteville police investigating shooting

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Fayetteville police are investigating a shooting and a possible robbery near Owen Drive that occurred late Wednesday night.

Officers responded to a call for a possible robbery in progress and reports soon came in of shots being fired in the area. A dark colored vehicle was seen leaving the scene and officers spotted the vehicle near Robeson Street and Weiss Avenue and took three suspects into custody.

Fayetteville police later received a call from the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center stating that they had two gunshot victims in the emergency room. Their conditions are unknown.
