Fayetteville police are asking for the public's assistance in finding a suspect after a robbery at a Kangaroo convenience store early Thursday morning.
The suspect is believed to have also been involved in a robbery at the Family Dollar on March 9. Both cases occurred on Raeford Road and involved the suspect walking into the business, displaying a handgun and taking money from the business before leaving on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s, 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds. He had facial hair during the first robbery but was clean shaven for the second. The suspect was seen wearing a black bomber type jacket with a fur trimmed hood, dark colored pants, and black & white sneakers.
