The State Medical Examiner's Office has released the identity of a man whose body was found Tuesday in Spring Lake.
Howard Pearce, 59, of 116 Rainbow Court, Spring Lake was reported missing in February
On March 12, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office was called to the 100 block of North First Street after a child playing in the woodline discovered the body.
The Medical Examiner was unable to determine the exact cause of death due to the condition of the body.
