Hoke County deputies say three people were injured when gunfire erupted early Sunday during a party at the Lisenby Mobile Home Park outside Raeford.
Deputies says Farrow Cobb and Byron Singletary got into a fight and Cobb shot Singletary in the abdomen with a .38 caliber revolver. Singletary then took away the gun from Cobb and shot Cobb in the hip and upper thigh, according to deputies.
A third man, Te'Ondria Campbell, was hit by a stray bullet.
All the victims were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment of what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Hoke County Lt. Timothy Rugg says when Cobb is released from the hospital he'll be charged with assault with intent to kill and with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He said charges might be filed against others in the case.
