FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Three Fayetteville residents, including two brothers, are dead after their car going about 100 miles per hour swerved off a road in Cumberland County and hit a tree.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol says the accident happened  at approximately midnight Thursday. A fourth person riding in the car was hurt.

Those killed in the crash have been identified as the driver, 22-year-old Jimmy Junior Locklear, and his 15-year-old brother Joshua. The third victim was 19-year-old Torey Deanthony Mosley III.

A fourth passenger, and the only one not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle and was taken to a hospital with broken bones and other injuries.

One teenager said her boyfriend was the first to call 911.

"He saw all four, went up to the car, saw that, and saw the other person lying in the ground, and that was it," said Madison Flanary. "There was nothing else he could do after that."

Authorites said that alcohol was a factor in the accident.
