Fayetteville police looking for driver who hit, killed cyclist

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Fayetteville Police are looking for the driver of a black Cadillac Escalade who hit and killed a motorcyclist Saturday.

Police said David Keller, 54, was traveling through the intersection of Morganton Road and Skibo Road on his 2002 Yamaha motorcycle when he was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene. He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and was pronounced dead later the same day.

Police said the Escalade has a New Orleans Saints logo on the back portion of the vehicle and damage to the passenger side door area.

Anyone having information about the accident or the suspect vehicle is asked to call the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1036 or Crimestoppers at 910-483-TIPS (8477).

Keller's last known address was in the 1700 block of Hampton Oaks Drive in Fayetteville.
