A Goldsboro man was arrested for kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman early Friday, police said.
Earl Thomas McLean, 31, was arrested by Goldsboro police and charged with first degree kidnapping and first degree rape.
Goldsboro police say McLean kidnapped a 28-year-old woman as she was getting off work around 3:40 a.m.
McLean forced the victim into his car and drove her to her house where he sexually assaulted her.
The victim was later transported to Wayne County Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
McLean is being held at the Wayne County Jail under $1.2 million bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for April 15 at 1:30 p.m.
