Eastbound lanes of Cary Parkway are expected to be open for the Monday morning commute.
A stretch of the parkway between Lake Pine Drive and Two Creeks Road/Kilarney Road has been closed since April 1 when an arson fire inside a culvert badly damaged the roadway.
The N.C. Department of Transportation let a contract for nearly $500,000 to replace the surface of the roadway over the culvert.
Westbound lanes of Cary Parkway are not expected to be ready until later in the week.
A teenager has been arrested and charged with starting the fire.
Amtrak services are delayed in Morrisville due to a freight trail derailment, authorities said.
