CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -

North Carolina sophomore James Michael McAdoo will return for his junior season, the University announced Tuesday.

McAdoo averaged 14.4 points and 7.3 rebounds helping UNC to a 25-11 record before losing to Kansas in the third round of the NCAA Tournament.

"I love this school and my teammates and I love being a North Carolina basketball player," McAdoo said in a press release. "There will certainly be a time when I want to play in the NBA, but right now I truly enjoy college life and I want to continue doing that for another season."

Earlier Tuesday, Reggie Bullock announced that he would leave UNC and enter the NBA Draft. Last week, rising junior P.J. Hairston said he would return for his third year in Chapel Hill.
