Woman falls, saved by air conditioner

Posted: Updated:
RIVNE, Ukraine -

An air conditioner helped save an elderly woman's life in Rivne, Ukraine, and her rescue was caught on tape.

Maria Sesuik, 94, was trying to open a window to her apartment when she apparently pushed too hard and fell out of her fourth-story window.

But luckily her clothes caught on a hook on her air conditioner and that prevented her from falling.

When neighbors heard her calls for help and saw her dangling in the air, they called emergency services.

After firefighters arrived it took them about 10 minutes to rescue her.

She was checked by a doctor after her ordeal and didn't have a scratch.

Sesuik was happy to see her daughter and granddaughter who came home from work.
