New search for Kelli Bordeaux planned

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

A volunteer is planning a new search for missing Fort Bragg Army medic Kelli Bordeaux on Saturday. Al Mignacci has participated in several previous searches for Bordeaux, and he said Friday the area searched Saturday will be an area where searchers have not previously been.

Bordeaux was last seen in April of 2012. She was leaving the Froggy Bottoms bar off Ramsey Street in northern Fayetteville.

Mignacci said he will need a lot of volunteers to make the search successful in either finding Bordeaux or ruling out a large area where no clues are found. He said the area to be searched is about three miles north of where Bordeaux was last seen. He added that the search area was suggested by a "concerned individual."

There will be a new search for Kelli Bordeaux this Saturday May 4th.

We will be searching a large area which has never been searched before.

Time: 9:00 am - PLEASE BE ON TIME.

Meeting location: Marathon Gas Station (BTO Store # 5)

7805 Ramsey Street (off Elliot Bridge Road)

Fayetteville, NC 28311

Suggestions on what to bring/wear:
Comfortable clothing (preferably long sleeve shirts & long pants)

Appropriate shoes for walking & climbing (may want to bring an extra pair of socks)

Sun Screen
Walking Stick
Backpack for your personal supplies (water, snacks & a lunch if you think you will need it)
