BMW recalls more than 42,000 cars

Posted: Updated:
Car manufacturer BMW is recalling more than 42,000 3 Series cars in the United States from model years 2002 and 2003, along with the M3 coupe and M3 convertible.
The recall is part of a worldwide recall of more than 200,000 BMW vehicles.
The reason for this recall is that the front passenger seat airbags may not inflate correctly due to a problem with the propellant.
Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Mazda have also recalled vehicles with airbags from the same supplier.
