The U.S. Attorney's Office announced Tuesday that 29-year-old Gregory Devon Obey was indicted last August on a several charges. He was convicted in late January.

Evidence showed that from at least March 2011 until June 2012, Obey was involved with several other individuals in the Smithfield area to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine. Officials said Obey was held accountable for over 45 kilograms of crack cocaine and 18 kilograms of powder cocaine.
