Fire officials investigating Fayetteville duplex fire

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Fire investigators are looking into what caused a fire Monday morning at a Fayetteville duplex. 

Firefighters responded to a house fire at 830 Danish Court around 8:30 Monday morning.  Half of the duplex was involved in the fire. 

No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported. 

Investigators say the fire started in the kitchen, but the caused remains under investigation. 

The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.
