Raleigh teen faces charges from gun store robberies

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Police arrested a suspect early Saturday morning after a Raleigh gun store on Craftsman Drive was robbed, for the second time in two weeks.

Authorities responded to the 4400 block of Craftsman Drive at 2:15 a.m. Saturday after receiving calls of a robbery at Eagle 1 gun store. 

Shortly after, police arrested a man, later identified as J'von Sneed, in connection with the break-in.

Raleigh police confirmed Sneed, 17, was responsible for the robbery at Eagle 1 two weeks ago.

Sneed faces numerous charges including counts of larceny of a firearm, misdemeanor larceny, possession of burglary tools, breaking and entering and resisting arrest.

His bond has been set at $755,00. Sneed's next court date is scheduled for May 28 at 2 p.m.

Police said on May 11, Eagle 1 gun store was robbed and the suspect fled the scene after stealing 19 handguns. Police did not make an arrest in the initial robbery.
