RALEIGH, N.C. -

North Carolina State's Super Regional match-up with Rice has been postponed until Saturday due to inclement weather.

The Wolfpack were originally scheduled to play at 4 p.m., but officials moved the start time to 7 p.m. before deciding to cancel Friday's festivities all together.

The first game in the Raleigh Super Regional will be played Saturday at 4 p.m. Game two will be played Sunday at 4 p.m. And if necessary, a winner-take-call third game will be played Monday, with the time to be determined Sunday.

Game one will be aired on ESPN2 and Game two will be aired on ESPNU.

The Wolfpack (47-14) will welcome the Owls (44-18) to Doak Field for the first game in the best-of-three series. The winners of the Super Regional will advance to the College World Series in Omaha, beginning June 15.

N.C. State is seeking its first trip to Omaha since 1968.

The Pack advanced to the super regionals with its 9-2 win over William & Mary on Sunday. Rice will make its way to Raleigh after topping Oregon 11-4 Monday night.
