Behind the release of their seventh studio album, Icelandic
post-rock band Sigur Rós will perform at the Red Hat Amphitheater in downtown
Monday morning, the band released the detail of its
up-coming fall U.S. tour -- a 20-date trek that includes a stop in Raleigh on

Recognized for their ethereal sound and minimalist presentation,
Sigur Rós is set to release "Kveikur," its seventh studio album and
the follow-up to 2012's "Valtari," on June 18.
After the departure of keyboardist Kjartan Sveinsson last
year, "Kveikur" is the first album by the band as a trio.
While many of the band's songs are sung in their native
Icelandic tongue, singer Jónsi also sings in Hopelandic, a non-literal, unintelligible
