Durham police are searching for a man wanted for attempted murder and other felony charges.

Demario "Dee Dee" Martin is wanted for attempted murder in relation to a shooting on the 3100 block of Hursey Street on June 18, police said.

According to police, Martin, 37, is also wanted on charges of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, discharging a firearm into occupied property, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and discharging a weapon within the city limits.

Anyone with information on Martin's whereabouts is asked to call Investigator M.S. Feskanich at (919) 560-4281, ext. 29123 or CrimeStoppers at (919) 683-1200. CrimeStoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases and callers never have to identify themselves.
