After 12 days of rainy conditions across Eastern North Carolina, a ridge of high pressure is currently building in to make your 4th of July celebrations drier and hotter across Eastern North Carolina. Here's a few 'zone forecasts' for some of the celebrations across the East for tomorrow:

North Inland Areas (Greenville, Rocky Mount/Wilson, Kinston, Goldsboro)

Morning- Middle-Upper 70s; Muggy...Partly Cloudy, Patchy Fog

Afternoon- Upper 80s to near 90, Heat Indices in the lower and middle 90s...Partly Cloudy, Isolated Storm Chance

Evening- Upper 70s-Lower 80s; Partly Cloudy, Isolated Storm Chance Early

 

South Inland Areas (Kenansville, Richlands, New Bern, Jacksonville)

Morning- Middle-Upper 70s; Muggy...Partly Cloudy; Patchy Fog

Crystal Coast- Mostly to Partly Sunny, Isolated Storm; Lower-Mid 80s; Moderate Rip Risk; Water Temps- Atlantic Beach: 78, Hammocks Beach: 80, Topsail Beach: 80; Waves: 2-3 ft.

SE North Carolina- Mostly to Partly Sunny, Isolated Storm; Lower-Mid 80s; Moderate-High Rip Risk; Water Temps- Wrightsville Beach: 81, Carolina Beach: 81, Oak Island: 80; Waves: 2-3 ft.
