RALEIGH, N.C. -

U.S. Marshals working with the Raleigh Police department arrested a man wanted for murder in Wisconsin.

U.S. Marshals and the Raleigh Police Department Fugitive Unit arrested Trenton Lavon Bean, 22, Tuesday morning at a home in the 3000 block of Piedmont Drive in Raleigh.

Bean was wanted by the Milwaukee Police Department for his role in connection with a June 14 shooting that left one man dead.

U.S. Marshals say Bean and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation on June 14 over a robbery Bean allegedly committed. During the argument, Bean shot the victim twice with a revolver and left him to die in the stream.

Official say Bean then fled the area, and U.S. Marshals in Milwaukee referred the case to the Raleigh office of the Violent Fugitive Task Force.

After a local investigation, Bean was tracked to the home on Piedmont Drive, where he was arrested.

Bean is being held in the Wake County Detention Center pending his return to Milwaukee.
