2 charged in Harnett Co. shooting

CAMERON, N.C. -

Two people have been arrested in connection with a shooting Monday night in Harnett County.

At around 7:45 p.m. Thursday, deputies from the Harnett county Sheriff's Office responded to a shots fired call at the 1400 block N.C. Highway 24-87.

An investigation into the incident revealed that two people had been shot. The victims have been identified as Gregory Ricardo Fargas, 20, and Tonielle Dominic Foushee, 24. One of the victims told authorizes that he was going to sell narcotics to two suspects, but changed his mind and the suspects began shooting.

Both gunshot victims were taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital.

Deputies arrested one suspect, Damien Sherrod Street, 20, shortly after the incident. He is charged with robbery, discharging a weapon into an occupied property inflicting serious injury and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

A second suspect, Tiyon Nathan Turner, 16, was arrested Tuesday. He is charged with robbery, discharging a firearm into an occupied property inflicting serious injury.

Two other people were seen leaving the scene in the suspect's vehicle. These two people have not been identified at this time. The vehicle has been seized by authorities.
