DURHAM, N.C. -

Durham police arrested a 20-year-old woman  in connection with two armed robberies in July near Sarah P. Duke Gardens.

Police said officers arrested Tamisha Thompson Thursday night after a traffic stop on North Roxboro Road near Old Oxford Highway. She was a passenger in the vehicle.

Thompson is charged with four counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and other crimes, Durham police said.

She is being held in the Durham County Jail on $1 million bond

Police said Tamisha and Denshawn Thompson robbed individuals near the Lewis Street entrance to the gardens on July 15 and July 25.

Law enforcement continue to search for Denshawn Thompson, 20, who has also been charged in the cases.

Durham police obtained an arrest warrant for him this week.

Kyle Cavanaugh, vice president for administration at Duke, said he appreciates the investigative work by Duke and Durham police and thanked the community for its support and cooperation.

Anyone with information about Denshawn Thompson's whereabouts is asked to call CrimeStoppers at (919) 683-1200. CrimeStoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases and callers never have to identify themselves.
