FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

A Fayetteville man is facing several additional child sex charges for incidents that took place in Cary and Apex between 2009 and 2013.

Apex police originally arrested and charged Ike David Simmons, 37, with two counts of first degree sexual offense of a child.

Simmons is now facing three counts of indecent liberties with a child and seven counts of statutory rape.

Simmons is a registered sex offender as a result of 2003 military court convictions. His bond was originally set at $500,000, but has now been increased to a $2 million bond.
