DURHAM, N.C. -

Police say a man found dead in a Durham parking garage died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Durham Police responded to the parking deck located at 5003 S. Miami Blvd. around 5:19 p.m. Saturday where a male victim was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

After an investigation by the Durham Police Homicide Unit, police determined the death to be a suicide.

The deck, located just off I-40, is associated with the Central Park South office building, which houses the Drug Safety Alliance as well as PharPoint Research.

WNCN does not typically report on suicides and no further updates on this incident will be provided.
