Porter has been taken to the Cumberland County Detention Center. He is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit a felonious assault and two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Authorities were looking for Porter for his suspected involvement with the Sept. 1 murder of 27-year-old Errol Williams.

A second suspect has already been arrested in the case. Eric Lamont Phillips, 31, was arrested at his home Sept. 3 on charges of drug possession and possession of a firearm by a felon.
