FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Fayetteville police said they are investigating two separate sexual assaults that happened recently.

The first sexual assault occurred Sept. 10 in the 500 block of Bragg Boulevard.

A woman told detectives that two men sexually assaulted her after driving her to that address. Police said the suspects were driving an older model green Jeep Cherokee.

The suspects in the first assault are described as Hispanic males standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and are between 20 to 30 years old.

Two days later on Sept. 12, a woman told Fayetteville police she was waiting for a ride when a man drove up in a dark-colored van. The man then forced her inside at gunpoint.

Police said the man then drove the victim to an area between Roberson Street and Southern Avenue, where he sexually assaulted her.

The suspect in the second assault is described as a black male around the age of 40, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Fayetteville police at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477. Crime Stoppers pays cash for information leading to an arrest, and callers may remain confidential.
