Chapel Hill Police seek 2 men in shooting

Chapel Hill Police are looking for two men involved in a shooting on Pope Road on Tuesday.

At approximately 5:30 a.m., Kenneth Hardin, 45, was found to have suffered gunshot wounds to his hand and his abdomen.

He was transported to UNC Hospitals where he was treated and released. Investigation identified the parties involved and it was determined that the shooting was not a random act.

Warrants have been obtained for two suspects that were involved in the shooting.

Rahmil Ingram is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, first-degree burglary, second-degree kidnapping, discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling and assault by pointing a gun.

Jamil Ingram is charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree kidnapping, as well as other related conspiracy charges.

Police say the men are considered armed and dangerous.
