Police searching for subject related to Raleigh robberies

RALEIGH, N.C. -

The Raleigh Police Department and the Wake County Sheriff's Office are requesting public assistance in identifying and locating a male subject.

Law enforcement stresses no charges are pending against the subject.

Investigators believe the subject has information that will assist the investigation into a pattern of recent crimes where victims were approached as they prepared to enter residences.

Law enforcement said the cases in question occurred:

  • Sept. 22 in the 4800 block of Pleasant Valley Road
  • Sept. 22 in the 4300 block of Furman Hall
  • Sept. 24 in the 1000 block of Collins Drive
  • Sept. 26 in the 5000 block of Stoneridge Drive
  • Sept. 27 in the 4900 block of Wynneford Way

Anyone who believes they may be able to identify the subject is asked to contact the Raleigh Police Department or the Wake County Sheriff's Office.
