WNCN's virtual set a hit at 28th International Festival

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Tens of thousands packed the Raleigh Convention Center last weekend to take a trip around the world, and many stopped by WNCN's booth to visit the station's virtual set.

The 28th International Festival of Raleigh -- which ran Oct. 4-6 -- celebrated the cultures from around the world that contribute to making the Triangle so vibrant.

The three-day festival featured a rich array of foods from around the world in addition to performances and booths about various countries -- including Greece, India, Argentina, China, Uruguay, Mexico, Brazil, Polynesia, Lebanon, the Philippines, Vietnam, Korea, Nepal, Venezuela, Colombia, Japan, Peru, Panama, Ireland and Scotland, among many others.

The International Festival of Raleigh is presented annually by International Focus, a non-profit organization with the mission to support North Carolina's international communities.

WNCN is proud to be the media partner of the International Festival, and the station's interactive booth is a hit with visitors year-after-year as they had a chance to meet WNCN personalities.

If you stopped by the booth this year, look for your photo in our galleries below.
