Leesville's Berrios will play at Miami

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Leesville Road High School star Braxton Berrios announced Saturday he will play for the University of Miami.

Berrios, rated a three star prospect by Scout.com, chose the Hurricanes over Kentucky, Oregon, South Carolina and Tennessee.

The wide receiver is listed at five foot 10 inches, weighing 170 pounds but Scout.

Berrios trimmed his list of schools down leaving out traditional powerhouses such as Ohio State, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech.

Berrios has been injured for the past few weeks but is expected back in two weeks.

The Berrios family is from Miami and Braxton grew up a fan of the Canes. In fact, his father ran track at Miami.
