Police have arrested a woman in Georgia for the 2001 murder of a 91-year-old woman in Raleigh.

Raleigh Police Department said its homicide detectives recently developed probable cause sufficient to obtain an arrest warrant charging Cathy Lynne Lentini, 53, with the murder of Beulah Dickerson.

Dickerson was found dead by Raleigh police on Oct. 24, 2001 in a residence at 160 Pineland Cir.

Police said Lentini lived near Dickerson at the time of the murder. Lentini had since relocated to Cartersville, Ga.

Raleigh police said detectives traveled to Georgia and were able to serve the arrest warrant on Lentini with the help of local authorities.

Pending extradition, Lentini is being held in the Bartow County Jail.
