CLAYTON, N.C. -

A 19-year-old man in critical condition after being hit by a car Wednesday has been identified.

Paul Chapman, 19, was riding his bike and crossing U.S. 70 in Clayton near Moore Street when he was struck by a car, knocked into the west bound lanes and run over by another car.

Chapman is still listed in critical condition at WakeMed. He moved to Clayton from Morganton recently for a job at the shopping center across from where he was hit.

Police say both drivers had the right-of-way and the bicyclist crossed the highway against the light. Neither driver will be charged.
