3 charged in Raleigh fatal shooting

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Raleigh police have arrested and charged three people in connection with an overnight shooting on Brentwood Road that left one person dead.

The shooting happened shortly after midnight in the 3800 block of Brentwood Road near New Hope Church Road. Police said two men had been shot. Trevon Shaihid Beard, 19, was found dead in a vehicle when police arrived.

Arrested were Isaiah Marquice Beverley, 20, Bionta Eugene Bryant, 27, and  Robert Alphonso Bryant, 23.

Bionta and Robert Bryant, who are brothers, were located at a motel on Appliance Court Tuesday morning.

Beverley also suffered a gunshot wound.

All three suspects are being charged with murder in connection with the shooting.
