FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

An unknown suspect robbed the McDonald's on Grove Street Nov. 1, according to police.

Fayetteville police said officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the restaurant at 542 Grove Street around 5:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers learned an unknown black male entered the business and jumped the front counter. The suspect then pulled out a handgun and demanded money, police said.

The suspect fled the area once he obtained an unknown amount of money, police said.

The suspect was described as a black male, 20 to 25 years old, wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants.

Anyone with information concerning the robbery or the identity of the suspect, is asked to contact Sergeant G.
