2 murdered in Mount Olive

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. -

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is investigating a double homicide that occurred Tuesday in Mount Olive.

Detectives and deputies are in the area of Waller Road, where officers are in the preliminary stages of the investigation.

The identities of the victims are being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.
